1. PAYMENT OF FEES 1.1 Fees are payable on a monthly basis, in advance of classes. So, for example, all classes scheduled for a particular month must be paid at the start of that month. 1.2 The Learning Collective will invoice parents at the start of each month. 1.3 The Learning Collective accept cash, cheques or BACS transfers (bank details provided on request) 1.4 If your child cannot attend a pre-paid class, we regret we are unable to refund monies due to the ongoing hire of facilities. If, however, at the time of invoicing, a parent notifies the group leader of absence, the weekly class will not be charged for. 1.5 Cheques are payable to “The Learning Collective Group.' 2. HEALTH & SAFETY 2.1 Appropriate clothing must be worn every week. e.g. leggings, jogging bottoms, jazz pants, tracksuit trousers and suitable footwear, e.g. trainers. 2.2 No jewellery should be worn for safety reasons. 2.3 No student should go into a room/studio/ theatre without permission. 2.4 Students should always walk into theatre and never run or push anyone. 2.5 Students should ask the leader for clarity if there is any safety instruction they do not understand. 2.6 Bags or belongings should be left in the designated areas indicated by the group leader. 2.7 Students should always be aware of other students' physical safety during active drama sessions - never push, punch, hit, strike out at another student. 2.8 Always stack chairs and tables safely. 2.9 Always report an accident or breakage immediately. 2.10 Never eat, drink or chew during classes. 2.11 Never interfere with equipment particularly electrical kit or large items of scenery. 2.12 Never stand, climb or jump off chairs, tables or benches without supervision. 2.13 Never remove or interfere with any safety notices or labels on equipment, walls, doors. 2.14 Always leave the room/studio/theatre clean and tidy. 2.15 Always leave the room/studio/theatre in an orderly manner. 3. GENERAL 3.1 Students participate at their own risk and are obliged to inform The Learning Collective of any injuries or medical condition. 3.2 The Learning Collective expects all students to show due respect and manners to staff, fellow students and members of the public on all occasions. 3.3 Discriminatory behaviour of any nature is not permitted. 3.4 The Learning Collective advises that no valuables are brought to classes. The Learning Collective will not accept any liability for lost or damaged belongings. 3.5 If you wish your child to make their own way to and from classes, please let the group leader know. 3.6 No student will be allowed to leave the Ty Pawb premises unless express permission is provided by parents. 3.7 I agree to giving The Learning Collective written notice of any unusual collection arrangements made for my child, (e.g. collection by another child's parent or by a taxi).
I, the undersigned, authorise all medical and surgical treatment, X-ray, laboratory, anesthesia, and other medical and/or hospital procedures as may be performed or prescribed by the attending physician and/or paramedics for my child and waive my right to informed consent of treatment. This waiver applies only in the event that neither parent/guardian can be reached in the case of an emergency. I, the undersigned, do hereby grant or deny permission to The Learning Collective to use the image of my child, as marked by my selection(s) below. Such use includes the display, distribution, publication, transmission, or otherwise use of photographs, images, and/or video taken of my child for use in materials that include, but may not be limited to, printed materials such as brochures and newsletters, videos, and digital images such as those on the The Learning Collective website.
